Triathlon is a TEAM sport – Race with a mate
Get your workmates or friends together and start swimming, cycling and running for fun and fitness.
The PIHC Teams Triathlon Series promotes teamwork, a healthy workplace, corporate health and a focus on maintaining a work/life balance. The PIHC Team Triathlon Series is a great opportunity for workmates or friends to take part in a fun event with a social atmosphere outside of the workplace.
Usually teams are comprised of three people – a swimmer, cyclist and runner. Alternatively one athlete can do two legs. They can either be the same gender or any combination of males/females. Participants must be fit and trained in the relevant disciplines.
There are two different distances at each event –
The Enticer Distance consists of a 250 metres swim, 7km to 10km cycle and a 2km run.
The Bikesure Pursuit Distance consists of a 750m swim 20km cycle and 5km run.
The exception is the City of Perth Triathlon which is held over the Olympic Distance of 1500m swim 40km cycle and 10km run.
The minimum age for the Enticer Distance is 12 years, the minimum age for the Bikesure Pursuit Distance is 14 years of age. The exception is the City of Perth Olympic Distance race where the minimum age is 15 years.

* All team members must have a Triathlon WA (TWA) or Triathlon Australia (TA) license.
*^ If one or more members of your team are not members of Triathlon WA or Triathlon Australia (TA) then you will need to enter as a non member team. Entering as a non member team will provide your team with a Day License. This Day License will provide insurance cover from Triathlon Australia. It is compulsory for all participants to have insurance from Triathlon Australia.
