Pursuit Tally

Participants must take part in a minimum of 3 races to be eligable, therefore participants who've only take part in 1 race so far have been taken out of the tally. Only TWA/TA members are eligable to collect points over the series.
If you are contending for a position in the top 3 in the series make sure you stick around for series presentations which will occur directly after race presentations at the City of Joondalup #2 Triathlon

Tanita Message
For years, many Triathletes all over the world have utilised Tanita’s body composition analysers to monitor their weight, body fat %, muscle mass, as well as to help calculate their sweat loss during workouts. Tanita suspected that a triathlete’s hydration could be vital to their performance, and may even provide an indicator as to how well they will be able to compete in a triathlon.
Therefore, Tanita did an experiment and tested over 5,500 participants and found that there was a direct correlation between pre-competition hydration and performance. Males that were most hydrated had as much as a 4 hour difference between the least hydrated males, and for women there was nearly a 3.5 hour difference. By performing a regression analysis, we were able to see that not only is there a relationship between hydration level and finish time, but that with every 1% increase in hydration athletes could complete a triathlon approximately 14 minutes faster. Therefore, anyone who is serious about improving their performance in triathlons should invest in a Tanita monitor- a critical tool to ensure you can achieve your health and fitness goals.
