City of Armadale Duathlon – Race Information

The 2017 City of Armadale Duathlon is WA’s Premier Duathlon Event and is Australia’s largest Duathlon!! This year the event once again hosts the Australian Duathlon Championships!

The event is also a qualifying race for the Australian Team for the 2018 World Duathlon Championships.

This year we are looking to include a Elite Draft Legal category for the event. If the Elite Draft Legal event is to go ahead, this will be considered the Open category for the State Championship and City of Armadale Duathlon results . All Open competitors who do not hold a Pro-Licence and Bike Endorsement will not be permitted to race in this category and will be transferred into their relevant age group.  If the Draft Legal event does not meet minimum numbers required to go ahead, competitors registered for this race will be transferred into the Open category unless we are informed otherwise.

The host venue – the Champion Lakes Regatta Centre is a purpose built multisport venue which hosts sports such as Rowing, Canoeing, Dragon Boats, Open Water Swimming, Cycling, Triathlon and Duathlon. The venue provides a challenging and safe location to host events, as well offering terrific spectator access on the multi lap course. We hope to see you all there for a fantastic day!
